Mr. Jarlath Madine is a highly experienced and values-driven international education leader, Jarlath brings over 35 years of teaching and leadership expertise across the UK, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Ireland. Throughout his career, he has transformed schools, nurtured inclusive communities, and supported thousands of students in achieving both academic success and personal growth.
Career highlights include:
• Growing a school in the UAE from under 500 to over 1,200 students in just three years, while introducing Cambridge IGCSE & A-Level programmers’ and significantly improving academic outcomes.
• Raising IGCSE results in Malaysia 🇲🇾 from 65% to 96% (A*), revitalizing teaching quality, school reputation, and student engagement.
• Leading the merger of four campuses in Vietnam, successfully blending cultures, introducing the Cambridge curriculum, and achieving CIS accreditation within a year.
• Founding a new international school in Qatar, delivering the project under budget, exceeding enrolment targets, and creating a vibrant, future-ready school culture.
• Working at system level in the UK, advising schools through local government improvement initiatives and leading the conversion of two failing schools into a successful academy.
Mr.Jarlath is also the creator of the ACE Approach (Academic Excellence, Character Development, Engagement), designed to ensure that students grow not only academically but also socially, emotionally, and ethically. He also introduced the “Below Green, Time to Intervene” student-tracking system and has consistently championed student well-being, leadership opportunities, robotics, and BTEC pathways in the schools he has led.
